This brightly
coloured mare lives up to her name! "Colors" was a futurity
winner as a young horse in her native Nova Scotia and is a good
broodmare - easy to breed, easy to foal and looks after her babies well.
She rides quietly and prefers trail riding to ring work. She's
currently being used for the occasional lesson for beginner riders and
is a favourite of our boarders to ride. She has produced two well
coloured fillies for us.
Colors suffered with a chronic eye infection during the summer of '07
that, despite constant medication, resulted in her losing the sight in
her right eye. She seems to have adapted well to her new condition
and is back going under saddle.
